Have you recently become a big brother or sister? That's news!

6/23/98 Sheri Griffith, a former dance student of ours for many years, and then on our teaching staff for several years, will be performing in a Musical Review this summer in Myrtle Beach, and while she is doing this show, she will be extremely busy, as she has also just signed a contract beginning September, and will be on a 2 year tour doing the fabulous Magic Show of David Copperfield! Sheri will be David's assistant, doing a world wide tour. This is a spectacular show and will tour all over the world. The itinerary includes places such as China, Japan, Hawaii, etc. There will also be some television specials she will be involved in while working with David Copperfield.

We are so excited for Miss Sheri, and glad to see her making it in the very competitive world of Show Business. I just spoke with her and she said to say hello to everyone and for all of the dancers performing in Stars of Tomorrow this weekend to "Break A Leg!"

Congratulations to Meredith Liscovitz for making the cheerleading squad at Immaculata High School for next year.

If you haven't seen the picture of Meredith Liscovitz and I, Ashley Scherer on the front page of the Beacon......well where have you been? Meredith and I were in the Women's Club of Hillsborough Fashion Show on April 30,1998. Even though we really weren't happy with the outfits we still walked out there with smiles on our face. We are looking forward to next years show! I'm glad I got to participate with Meredith in this pleasant event.

I just want to inform you that Hallie Schreiber has an achievement; she was re-elected as the President of the Student Council at Pine Grove Manor School (in Somerset). Iam very proud of her. Last year she was voted in as the first President of the Student Council. and now she will have the recognition of being the first President to serve two terms. (The school is K, 1, and 2 only). We'll see how she does next year at her new school!

Christine Bradley, age 9, Manville, played on thetown's UNDEFEATED fall soccer team, The Jersey Angels. The Manville girls played in harsh weather and they played against older girls (up to 6th grade). Their success is a tribute to the fact they they finally learned about "teamwork". As a team, they beat the odds and their coaches are very proud of them. Being undefeated is great but their real success is learning how to work together which is priceless!

Heather Meyer, age 14, has recently been made the student choreographer for the upcoming Hillsborough High School Play.
